What Is Pelvic Floor Therapy?

Your pelvic floor is a network of muscles that support your bladder, bowel, sexual health, and core. When these muscles are struggling, it can cause pain and dysfunction in your hips, back, tailbone, knees, ribs, posture, and movement.
This kind of pain is very normal, very common, and nothing to be ashamed of. Aylara Pelvic Health provides pelvic floor physical therapy as a safe, conservative treatment that can help you heal naturally and help avoid surgery or invasive procedures.

Does This Sound Familiar?

  • Pelvic and tailbone pain
  • Urinary incontinence and overactive bladder
  • Painful sex and vaginismus
  • Pregnancy and postpartum fatigue
  • Core weakness and abdominal separation/diastasis recti
  • Organ prolapse
  • Menopause-related pelvic changes
  • Constipation and bowel dysfunction
  • Hip, low back, and sciatica pain
  • Erectile dysfunction and male pelvic floor dysfunction
  • Poor athletic performance and core stability
  • Feeling dismissed or told your symptoms are “normal.”

BreeAnn has helped me so much. I first found her at IHC and saw her for a shoulder injury for physical therapy. Years later after having kids I was searching for a pelvic floor therapist and found that BreeAnn opened her own clinic with this specialty. She has helped me work through various pains and ailments. Her knowledge is extensive and can help with a variety of issues. Highly recommended her!

Every woman who has had a baby (or is struggling at all with pelvic pain or pain with sex) needs to schedule an appointment with Sara or Bree! Peeing your pants, painful sex, tailbone pain, lower back pain, and the lost can go on and on ... isn't just something you should expect to experience now! There is hello for you to feel better and have the pelvic floor health you have in the past (or even better). Sara and Bree are both extremely knowledgeable, but also have great bedside manner. They take their time and help you feel comfortable even when you're getting examined in normally private areas of your body. 10/10 recommend! If you're on the fence, just schedule an appointment!

I did physical therapy with BreeAnn both during pregnancy and postpartum. Working with her was amazing and absolutely critical to my recovery! I had some issues with my bladder among other things, and I can’t believe how much things have improved and how much strength I’ve gained back since starting postpartum PT. She has also helped me with some low back issues that I had prior to pregnancy with dry needling. Would strongly recommend working with BreeAnn and Aylara (previously Luna Physio) to everyone!!

I am SO grateful for Luna Physio!! Every interaction I've had with every member of their staff has been lovely, they are so kind and so great to work with. Dr. Sarah is amazing! She's very validating in her communication, she explains and teaches things so clearly, and the care she's provided has literally been life changing for me and my health - I would give her my firstborn child if she asked lol. I highly recommend their office :)

I had an appointment with Bree and she is AMAZING! In fact, the entire staff and office are lovely! Bree took so much time to explain everything during the appointment and to teach about pelvic floor health. She sent me home with exercises and knowledge and was such a kind and compassionate listener. I think, whatever your age, you should make an appointment with Luna Physio. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Forgot to review until 8 months postpartum, but I am so thankful for Bree! I wanted to feel confident with my body in preparing for my first birth, and Bree helped me to feel strengthened, educated, and prepared before delivering my baby. Then, once I was ready to start my postpartum recovery and get to the point I could start dancing again, she stepped in again and helped me feel confident in my pelvic floor postpartum. Thanks for everything Bree; my end of season performance went perfectly and I still am feeling confident in my recovery with your help!
